Textile Block Printing with The Recoverie

During this workshop, Danielle Broder, owner of The Recoverie, guided us through a hands-on block printing tutorial geared towards artists of all levels—including complete beginners. She took us through the process of designing, carving, and printing our own custom stamp, as well as mixing custom colors to then stamp our design onto provided items to create unique, handmade pieces.

In addition to workshops, Danielle also designs custom textiles for the interior design industry and some of her work has been carried by West Elm and other shops in SF.

June Happy Hour with Part & Parcel

Our June Happy Hour was hosted at Miller's Rest with special guest Part & Parcel, a greeting card company founded by three friends here in San Francisco. The gals behind this beautifully curated card collection shared more about their brand and the journey to starting their own company. Hustle n' Flow

During this event one of our members, and the founder of YogaSidekick, guided us through a morning yoga session, followed by La Croix mocktails and snacks in the sunny courtyard. Jessi is a total badass on the yoga mat and recently launched this side hustle, which she shared with us following our morning sweat session. Through private and intimate group sessions, Jessi empowers new and even the most avid yoga enthusiasts to challenge themselves on and off the mat.

Relaunch Mixer

This event was hosted at Tender, a female owned wine bar in San Francisco with a focus on sustainability. The event served as the official Relaunch Mixer where we presented our community #goalz for the coming months. Our goal includes hosting monthly events to foster this group of incredible women, while bringing the best experiences to members. During this time, members shared some of their goals for the future, leaving the event with a group of allies to achieve just that.

Always Be Blooming

We thought it fitting to bring everyone together on the first day of Spring, as we were all in need of a few blooms to help forget about the rainy winter season.  At this point, our collective had grown to over 80+ women, so we planned an evening of re-engagement and connection with new and old members in one of our favorite places in the city; Ampersand.  We all took home a stunning bouquet, a handful of Polaroids and countless memories.

Laying New Roots

As one of the first gatherings for our community, this event focused on introducing members to one another, while coming together to master a new skill at Flora Grubb Gardens.  After spending the afternoon learning how to prepare the perfect succulent arrangement (and how to keep it alive!), the group formed bonds the led into many of the deep friendships that are shared today.  That day, we all gained a sense of community and began laying our roots [together] in our beloved city.
